Article 55. Ratings on the various functions under Article 25 paragraph 3 of the Law are determined separately for airframes, piston-engines, turbine-engines, propellers, instrument or electrical circuits in accordance with the various of functions for which an inspection is performed.

 

Article 56. Ratings on the qualification previously obtained by any person having qualification for a pilot are, when he has obtained competence certification for a higher class qualification (in accordance with the order under the provisions of Article 24 of the Law) for the same category of aircraft (the same class in case of a glider), valid also for the qualification which he has newly acquired.

 

(Change of Rating on Competence Certification)
Article 57. Any person who will make an application for change of rating on competence certification in accordance with the provisions under Article 29-(2) paragraph 1 of the Law shall submit an application for change of rating on competence certification (Form No. 21) to the Minister of Transport.

 

2. The provisions of Article 42 paragraph 2 to paragraph 6 inclusive shall apply accordingly to an application under the preceding paragraph. In this case, “three copies” in paragraph 2 of the same Article shall read as “one copy”, and “any person who makes an application for competence certification” in paragraph 6 of the same Article shall read as “any person who makes an application for change of rating on competence certification (restricted only to a person who makes an application for change of rating on competence certification which requires flying experience and other experiences other than those required to obtain the competence certificate he actually holds)” and ”the ages under paragraph 1 of the following Article and flight and other experiences as listed in the attached table No. 2” shall read as “flying experience and other experiences as listed in the attached table No. 2”.

 

(Notice of Revocation, etc. of Competence Certification)
Article 58. When he has made a disposition under the provisions of Article 30 of the Law (including when applied accordingly to Article 35 paragraph 5 of the Law) the Minister of Transport notifies an airman or a student pilot (any person who has obtained a permission under 35 paragraph 1 item 1 of the Law, hereinafter the same shall apply) to whom the disposition has been made and the notification is accompanied by a description of the contributing reasons.

 

(Suspension of Air Navigation Service)
Article 59. Any airman or student pilot who has received a notice under the preceding Article relating to the suspension of air navigation service or flight training shall promptly submit his competence certificate or student pilot permit to
